Disneyland Half Marathon

Annabel and I ran in the Inaugural Disneyland Half Marathon last September 17th. It was a lot of fun as we got to run all throughout both parks plus around the infield of the Anaheim Angels Stadium with our pictures on the giant Jumbotron (really cool). There were 12,000 runners and many were dressed in funny costumes. I have a photo of each of us from the race.

Hmm, that is a pretty motly crew for those that are supposed to be my kinfolk.  Oh well, they are a good bunch and hopefully I will get to see most of them at my son's upcoming wedding on the 29th of September in Baton Rogue.  It will be a gala even and the best thing is there will be great company and some great food.  A good time is expected to be had by all those who attend.

Good News for Charles

So happy to hear your good news Charles. I am so amazed at what modern science can do to help people. This is a photo of Annabel cooking and me getting in her way when everyone was out here last October.
Here are Sandy, Mom, Shirley and me on their October trip out here last year. David was kind enough to take the picture for us. The visit was a pure delight and one of the best times I have had.

P.S. I tried to add some more photos Charles but could not. Is there a limit?

Good News From Doctor Ruth

I had a MRI and a thalium scan September 5, 2006. I met with my onocologist/nuerologist today. Her name is Doctor Ruth F. She said my scans all came back negative, no tumor noted. My surgery was on April 19, 2006. Good news for me.

A Saturday Run

I found the page to post pictures Charles. I am posting a test photo of a Saturday run with some friends at the Back Bay of Newport Beach. I am the one on the left least I confuse anyone who has not seen me lately. I notice you can see all the posted messages and photos by clicking on "September 2006" in the Archives section. I also see that you can delete messages you posted if you want to. This is a great way for all of us to stay in touch.

Hi to everyone. Congratulations, Cecil. I know the run was a challenge.
Courtney, glad you're on this. Yes, we're still house-hunting. As I've said, apartment living is claustrophobic after having a big open living area. Also, I miss my cats. They are residing in David's Mom's basement. I'm also jobless but looking(sort-of). Matthew looks like you, Charles, in the grad pic.
