Tybee Island Getaway

David and I ate and drank our way around Tybee Island and Savannah this week. We ate at Uncle Bubba's Oyster Bar. He is Paula Deen's brother. We had chargrilled oysters. They were delicious. We started to eat at The Lady and Sons(her place) but the line was too long. David fished all over the place without much luck but he had fun. We found the most adorable beach house two houses down from our hotel. It is owned by Miss Essie and her son, Albert Walls. They both own homes in Savannah and a Bed and Breakfast. She showed us around the beach house. It sleeps 8 in beds and is great, however, $3,000 a week. Gorgeous! We are going to save our money...anyone else interested?

Have been redecorating some and thought I would share with everyone. The picture of the coleus flower is one that Mom planted from a seed. I have never seen one so tall. David and Gracie say hi. I have been playing with my ipod nano that Cameron gave me for my birthday.Love to all my kinfolks.

GO MISSISSIPPI STATE! BEAT AUBURN!!!

New door levers

David is changing brass knobs to satin nickel levers on all doors. Plus he is laying the attic floor. We had to have opening cut and attic stairs installed so we could use this large space for storage. The saga continues...

Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen!!!

Happy Birthday wishes to Shirley, my younger, wonderful sister! I hope everyone treats you special on this marvelous birthday and may your wish be granted. I am not good with numbers so I hope I got your age right. We all love you my dear.

P.S. Mom's endearing nickname among her youthful brothers and sisters was "legs". Looks like you inherited the nickname and the legs to go with it. Hubba! Hubba!
