THANKSGIVING!

We had a good time too. We had smoked chickens!

Thanksgiving is such a special time and there is no better way to enjoy this Holiday than with our family and loved ones.  We know it's not always easy for everyone to get together at one place so today there are lots of the Quick family members enjoying a special Thanksgiving at various places around the country.  Boddie and Vicki and Myles and Mallory came to Tennessee to spend this Thanksgiving with us and we are having a wonderful time.  Julie and I enjoy sharing our home with family and we are so thankful for Boddie and his family sharing this time with us.

New Band in Town

We had to show how talented our family is. We play for free!! Cameron and Brooks's house. I don't know where the dogs were, probably hiding.

November Visit

One of the reasons for our November visit with Mom was because the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) organization were going to honor three military heroes of Covington County, of which one of them was Dad. Mom was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the DAR recognizing Dad for "dedicated and meritorious service to his comrades and country during Warld War II". It was an honor for Julie and I to be there and be a part of this presentation. Hearing the three different stories brought tears to the eyes of everyone in attendance.

Halloween 2009

Here are some photos of Scout and Jordon at the Twin's Club Halloween party. They were dressed as Minnie Mouse but they would not wear their ears. The girls just could not believe that people were putting more and more candy into their pink pumpkin baskets.

Halloween 2009

Sheridan and her best friend, Katie, dressed up as an elderly couple. They called themselves Edna and Earl. Everybody got a big kick out of them, as they acted the parts perfectly all around the neighborhood!
