My Mom Is the Best Mom

No offense to all of the other wonderful Moms in our family but that is just the way I feel. I have been truly blessed to have this sweet lady as my one and only Mom. I have enjoyed being one her children and feeling the warm radiance of her love. Mom has been emiting that love from the day I first drew breathe to now. I was watching the video of Dad's interview about the war and there they both were. The little things I love about the both of them broke right through the TV screen and they came alive in my home. Whenever I am down or feeling like my way is hard, I always fall back to the fond memories of being in Mom and Dad's life. I realize what they went through and the life they lead and suddenly my own troubles melt away into nothingness. My life is easy because of the great family and the great country that Mom and Dad and all of their generation built for us. How many times has Mom pulled those sheets off that clothesline? How many times up and down the patio stairs? How many meals for a family of seven? How many loads of laundry so we could all be squeaky clean? How many tears from her worrys that all of us will be okay ? How many we ask, as many as there are stars in a cold winter sky.
