Annabel's Baby Shower

On Saturday we attended a baby shower given by some of our running friends and others. It was a couples shower combined with a blowout party. Picture 1: One game we played was to guess Annabel's circumference. I did the measuring with a 25 foot tape measure (just to be safe). I tied with Arcy guessing 40 inches. The actual measurement was 41.5. Picture 2: Friends relaxing and talking. The shower was such a wonderful time. The standing lady in red is Julie. She did all the arranging and hosted the party. She is the best. Picture 3 and 4: I was awarded a "Daddy Diaper Duty Device". A tool belt with diapers, tongs, safety glasses, powder, Butt Cream, latex gloves, two baby dolls, and a face filter mask. It was the funniest thing. Picture 5: Annabel and I open presents from everyone. Our friends gave us so many nice things. I was really touched by the thought they put into the presents. Good friends are one of the best things in life. Well, Annabel is 31.5 weeks and counting down. We are selling the Lexus SC 430 and buying a minivan. We are setting up the babies' room with cribs and baby necessities. The excitement is building. We finished our last Lamaze class last week and we learned a lot so we will hopefully be ready. We also took a hospital tour and a baby CPR course. Cross your fingers everyone. Here they come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
