The Rock Wall

David and I are building a rock wall with all the rocks from our yard. Okay...we did have some help from our amigos. This must have been an Indian community because our neighbors have found lots of arrowheads. David and I have not found any yet...but we can't see that great.

Thank Heaven for Little Girls

Shirley told me to post some more baby photos so here they are. The girls had a checkup July 17 and Jordan weighed 9 lbs 10 ozs and Scout weighed 8 lbs 6 ozs. They are discovering their arms and legs so they kick and swing their limbs continuously. Sometimes you pick them up and they smile right into your face and coo ever so softly to you. You heart melts from their pure cuteness. Scout set a personal record yesterday, three diapers in three minutes including one with a BM so you know that is an accomplishment. We just hired a live-in nanny today and she is very sweet. Annabel gets to work with her a week before goes back to work so she will get her off to good start. I do not want to kid you, these girls are a lot of work but it is all worth it. Wish you could all be here to hold them, especially Mom but distance and time are finite elements that we can not alter. Hold on to those you love, life is finicky and ephemeral. I love you all and thank you each for the wonderful baby presents. You all touched my heart.

Katelyn Turns Sweet 16

On July 13, we celebrated Katelyn's Sweet 16! A bunch of her friends came over for pizza and birthday cake. It was quite rowdy! Then they all piled in teen cars to go see the Harry Potter 5 movie. She had a great day.
