Scout and Jordan Lately

HOT FUN IN THE SUMMERTIME! Watermelon, ice cream, the backyard, the park, the beach, and the big red chair. I wanted to post some pictures of my little girls. They are getting cuter everyday and we have a lot of fun no matter what we are doing.

Reupholstered furniture

As you can see, my floral furniture is now simply khaki...waiting on ottoman to be done then can work on some pictures for empty walls.

Goodbye Orlando

Well, Julie and I spent our last day in our house on Rotuma Street today cleaning, painting, and getting things ready for our new tenants.  Julie and I shared many wonderful days there along with a few sad times.  But now it is time for us to move on and we are doing so with much anticipation to a new and wonderful life together in Tennessee. This house looks so big now that everything has been moved out and of course we are saying, "Why exactly are we leaving this place now?" But we both know why.  Orlando was a nice place to live many years ago but we never felt it was the place we wanted to live after retirement.
