Goodbye Orlando
Well, Julie and I spent our last day in our house on Rotuma Street today cleaning, painting, and getting things ready for our new tenants. Julie and I shared many wonderful days there along with a few sad times. But now it is time for us to move on and we are doing so with much anticipation to a new and wonderful life together in Tennessee. This house looks so big now that everything has been moved out and of course we are saying, "Why exactly are we leaving this place now?" But we both know why. Orlando was a nice place to live many years ago but we never felt it was the place we wanted to live after retirement.
I will post some before and after move pictures later.

How exciting, but sad. It will be different for you guys. "So they loaded up the truck and they moved to Tennessee......"
LoL - that is great Shirley. I hope everyone else gets the gist of what you wrote and where it came from originally although slightly modified by you.
I'm happy for you both. Change is good! It revs you up! Keeps you young!

Sorry for my 2 of the same comments.
Who knows???
Moving is amazingly emotional. You have to let time go by to make the adjustment. I remember being sad for a few weeks after moving and not really knowing why. On the other hand, a new place is exciting and invigorating. I bet you both will have fun making it "your" home.
