November Visit
One of the reasons for our November visit with Mom was because the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) organization were going to honor three military heroes of Covington County, of which one of them was Dad. Mom was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the DAR recognizing Dad for "dedicated and meritorious service to his comrades and country during Warld War II". It was an honor for Julie and I to be there and be a part of this presentation. Hearing the three different stories brought tears to the eyes of everyone in attendance.

We all miss him so much. Wish we all could have been there.

Mom and you both look great. I am so glad you were there to accompany Mom. Such a very nice effort to make on your part. I am sure she had a warm, heartfelt visit with both Julie and you.
Yes, it was a very special time for Julie and I and something that touched us both deeply.
